Sante Starace

Sante Starace is an artist born in Verona in 1974. His practice spans painting, mixed media, and works on paper, exploring themes of memory, transformation, and the material essence of the artistic gesture.

His works are characterized by vibrant chromatic layers, dynamic geometric compositions, and a constant dialogue between abstraction and figuration. The surfaces become fields of tension where controlled gestures meet chance, where writing interweaves with pure painting.

Active since 1998, Starace has exhibited in Italy and internationally, developing a distinctive visual language that draws from both the Italian pictorial tradition and ongoing experimentation.
